My Opponent Has A Shield And A Spear With No Conviction. I Have A Few Stones and One Sling With Conviction. It Is My Proposition That Texans Vote With Conviction And Reject The Status Quo This Upcoming 2026 Election Cycle.

Truth be told, I have zero political experience. My opponent, Incumbent Senator Cornyn is a political Goliath when compared to me. Just like in the story of David and Goliath, I have a few stones and a sling while my opponent has a war chest of shields and spears.

David was not experienced in fighting his battles with an armor, a shield, or a spear. However, David was experienced in fighting his battles with the fear of God and conviction. David’s conviction came from his fear and reverence for God, and it is for this reason why David was an effective leader.

Like any human being, David was not perfect but his reference for God and conviction kept him accountable to God. An effective leader has to understand that Government answers to God and with that wisdom comes the conviction to lead with virtue and sacrifice.

The people of Israel will not have even considered David as an option to stand against Goliath in battle. Even the Prophet Samuel could not discern that David was God’s pick to be King because Samuel was judging from the outside looking in, meanwhile God was judging from the inside looking out.

A true leader is only as good as the sum of their convictions and virtues. A leader lacking in conviction leads from a place of self-preservation and weakness. A leader with conviction leads from a place of selflessness and strength.

Senator Cornyn’s extensive political background has only affirmed the sentiments of Texans that Senator Cornyn is indeed lacking in conviction and virtue. The people of Texans share a common sentiment that Senator Cornyn is not the type of leader Texans need in 2026.

Just like Senator Cornyn, most politicians have extensive political, legal, and business backgrounds. However, what sets them apart is the strength of their conviction.

President Trump was an effective leader in his first term without any prior Political experience because he is a man who is willing to lay down his own life for his convictions. Any nation whom God blesses with such a leader is a testament to the goodness and mercy of God. Men like President Trump are one in a billion.

America is truly blessed to have experienced God’s grace in giving us a leader with such a strong sense of conviction as President Trump. My proposition for Texans is to vote with conviction this 2026 election cycle and help Senator Cornyn retire from the office of U.S. Senate and elect Anna Bender as the next U.S. Senator representing the Great state of Texas.
